Positions with Stone Creek Catering
Banquet Sous Chef
Responsibilities of Sous Chef with experience in on and off site catering, including same day
multiple events. Able to handle the responsibility of the head chef at any given time. Is able
to work long hard hours
under stressful situations as well as the easygoing ones. Is also a
team leader and creative in several areas of the culinary arts. Shares responsibility daily in
making sure the kitchen is organized and CLEAN at the end of the day, this is a priority.
Skilled in all aspects of the line including, saute, fry, grill, steaks, seafood and so on.
Responsible for timely and successful presentation of all dinner menu items, including
nightly specials and daily soup. Able to work in a fast paced environment, be well organized,
and have excellent cleaning / sanitation standards, and most importantly have a good and
positive attitude. Must have at least 7 years experience.
Prep Cook
Assists the Executive & Sous Chef in all areas of daily restaurant & special event
preparations. Includes sauces, saute, fry, grill, garnish, and baking. Must be well organized,
have excellent cleaning/sanitation standards with ability to follow and read recipes.
Server
Experience is required and you must be 21 years old and willing to get a TIPS certification.
The server’s #1 priority is the guest. You must be an excellent server, efficient, friendly, &
professional.
Captain
Experience is required and you must be 21 years old and already have a TIPS certification or
willing to obtain one on your own. Ability to delegate duties to servers/bartenders & manage
the overall function of the event. Excellent people skills required. Must be efficient, friendly,
professional, and knowledgeable of all aspects of event management. Will be responsible
for overseeing the logistics & setup when the Sales Associate is not able to do so. Will work
closely with the Sales Associate to ensure event success.
Bartender
Experience required and you must be 21 years old and willing to get a TIPS certification.
More than excellent people skills. Duties include daily bar setup and breakdown. You must
be efficient, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable on all menu items including beer, wine
and spirits selection. You must be well organized and have excellent cleaning and sanitation
standards.
